About Me

I began my study of music when I was six years old. By twenty I received my Bachelors Degree in Piano Performance and Teaching from the notable Pushkin’s College of Music in Moscow. I went on to receive my Masters in Music from Gnessin Russian Academy of Music.

In 1993 I immigrated to the U.S. and soon joined the Music Teacher's Association of California. Teaching privately, I began  preparing my students for Certificate of Merit tests, concerts, and competitions.

My love of children inspired me to receive my license through the Kindermusik program for young children at the University of San Francisco in 1994.

Twenty-five years of teaching experience has allowed me to develop a personal approach towards my students, with attention paid to their love of music and individual abilities in creating their own style of performing.

My Teaching Approach

I apply academical/classical style of teaching and blend with jazz, rock, and popular music. I am convinced that every child has the potential for playing music and with patient guidance of the teacher and loving encouragement  of the parents,   a child can be given powerful tool in their life to love and appreciate music. My personal contact with the student gives me a better understanding of his/her inner world and musical needs, which provide successful results for the students learning process.
